Go By Bike is seeking a 30 to 35 hour a week bike mechanic to start October 3rd. Compensation starts at $12 plus a bonus of 10% of all shop revenue.

Go By Bike provides bicycle valet, rentals, and repair under the aerial tram in South Waterfront at the most multimodal intersection and largest bike parking area in North America.

As often as possible we aim for same day repairs. These include full tunes, flats, brake repairs, fender installs…

Very competitive pay and potential for profit sharing. Our clients are 70% women. Ideal candidate must be a problem solver, patient, and good at multitasking. Customer service is key, as you will be interacting with around 200 people a day. You will be required to work on bikes that span from high end to lower end commuters. For the past four years we have done all repairs out of a trailer we are very excited that we will have a brand new shop space arriving in October.

Responsibilities:
-Perform all types of bicycle repairs
-Self-motivated and willingness to work both with others and by oneself
-Keep shop clean and organized
-Operate bicycle valet
-Repair rental and bike share bikes during the day
-Punctual

Desired Qualifications
-Excellent customer service experience
-UBI certified
-2+ years of bike mechanic experience
-Customer service experience
