As any Jungalista knows, the key elements to Jungalow Style are color, pattern, and plants. We always love to see how you’re adding life to your homes by bringing in the green, so we were eager to take a peek at Urban Jungle: Living and Styling With Plants– the new book from our homie Igor (of Happy Interiors Blog) and his Urban Jungle Bloggers partner, Judith!
Providing a look into five homes from all over Europe, Urban Jungle is full of not only inspiration for how to style with plants, but also care tips for a variety of plants, beautiful illustrations by Saar Manche, and DIY projects too! One of our favorites from the book is the colorful apartment of Morgane, and her son Arman. We love the lived-in coziness of their home in the south of France, where Morgane’s weaving and knitting projects add a pop of color and texture all over, and her love of plants is evident in every corner!
The framed leaf DIY Morgane contributed to Urban Jungle is simple to make but packs a big plantastic punch. Perfect for any gallery wall or vignette, we can imagine creating a whole display with leaves of varied sizes.
Urban Jungle is out in Europe today, in both German and English editions and is available for pre-order in the U.S. Pick it up and get your plant inspo on!
