It’s prime bike adventure season. Whether you’ve been itching to explore your neighborhood or the great state of Oregon, now is the time to do it.

There’s a nice selection of rides and events this week. Check out the full menu below…

Friday, July 7th

Faraday in Portland – 5:00 pm at Hopworks BikeBar (3947 N Williams Ave)
When it debuted at Oregon Manifest in 2011 I called it “the best e-bike ever.” The Faraday has come a long way since then and the company is returning to Portland for a demo session and meet-up. Come chat with CEO Adam Vollmer, enjoy a free beer, grab some swag, and demo one of their bikes for yourself. More info here.

Friday Evening Road Ride – 7:00 pm at Western Bikeworks (1015 NW 17th)
Decompress from the week on this chill group ride led by the capable folks at Western Bikeworks in the Pearl. More info here.

Saturday, July 8th

All the legendary support and ambience of Cycle Oregon packed into two days of amazing rides and memories. Three routes to choose from each day through varied (paved) terrain around McMinnville. Base camp is at the grassy and gorgeous Linfield College campus. More info here.

Mt. Hood Gravel Grinder – Starts at Hutson Museum and Park in Hood River
Choose from three different routes and explore some of the best roads anywhere on this mixed terrain adventure. The 86-mile long route will circumnavigate Mt. Hood. More info here.
