Whether you live in a rental or you own your home, it’s amazing what a few colorful accessories can do to liven up the look of the kitchen. In Faith’s kitchen, a little gallery wall, a bright green basil planter and small wooden animal figurines are dotted along the windowsill.

In Mattie’s Kitchen, a peg board holds up all kinds of wonderful accessories, both functional and fanciful.

In my old kitchen, an old, jungalicious wall shelf leaves room to hang colorful mitts and towels that make a colorful statement.
