Job Description *
The Volunteer and Event Manager, supervised by the Program and Operations Director, works closely with fund development, bike shop and program staff to successfully organize and implement major events that support the mission of the Community Cycling Center. The Volunteer and Event Manager will lead the Holiday Bike Drive, which provides hundreds of children with their first bicycles, new helmets and safety education. They are also responsible for other key Cycling Center events throughout the year, such as community rides and fundraising events.

Successful candidates will have the ability to plan, organize and execute complex events that bolster the organization’s image in the community while providing a great experience for all participants. The Volunteer and Event Manager will be personable, collaborative, organized, solution-oriented and have strong fundraising skills.
