This Just In: Debbie Bean

Debbie Bean’s handmade stained glass suncatchers are a Jungalow favorite! When the light shines through her pieces, casting colorful shadows on the wall, you can’t help but to feel some magical kinda way. The contrast between the delicate glass and the bold color she infuses into each piece strikes the perfect balance.

Debbie’s love of glasswork started when she was just a child. At the age of 10, she designed a stained glass panel for her childhood home. As a teenager, she took her first stained glass class. Since then she has been growing and evolving as a glass artist.

We love watching the colorful shadows her pieces cast wander around the studio as the light changes throughout the day. Debbie’s glasswork is a beautiful accessory for any window that gets a lot of light. Hang a few trailing plants nearby, add some crystals to the window sill and you have a whole look!

Debbie also makes trays by hand cutting the glass to size and copper foiling each piece before soldering together using lead-free, silver alloy solder and an occasional copper patina. Her stained glass trays are cosmically inspired by the Omega Nebula found in the constellation Sagittarius. We think these interstellar trays that are perfect for holding your keepsakes, essential oils, or candles.
