OOTD: Art Show Attire

The post was sponsored by eBay

We hosted an art show last week. This was my getup. Comfort is alway *so key* for me. I really don’t do well in uncomfortable shoes, or heels that are too high. (It is not uncommon for me to be running around barefoot by the end of the night!) I love to mix prints, and mix old and new, and do so often with abandon. Since I don’t have as much time to shop at vintage clothing stores as much as I used to, I do a lot of my shopping for both vintage and new pieces on eBay in the wee hours of the night. I don’t usually bid on stuff. I’m a little too impatient for all that. I’m kinda of a ‘Buy it Now’ type of gal.

Some of my favorite things to shop for on eBay is vintage turquoise jewelry. I collect it. Sometimes I wear statement pieces, (like this cuff) on their own, or sometimes I go crazy and layer lots of pieces together. I buy cuffs a lot online because I can be sure they’ll fit since the sizes are adjustable. To look for similar pieces to this one, go here.

Another thing I look for on eBay is boho dresses. I’m pretty sure this one is Indian and pretty old. There is a lot of hand-stitching and tons of little sequins which I love. I like the tent-style too (especially when shopping online) because the chances of it fitting are better. Also, I often find pieces (both new or gently used) from places like Anthro and Free People and can get pieces from past seasons for cheaper.

I got the shoes from UK shop Plumo a few years back, but search this link to find some similar kicks!

And I’ve had this vintage Christian Dior bag since the dial-up days for real. I got in on eBay in college!! It’s the only designer monogram bag that I have. It goes with everything and it’s my go-to for dress-up situations.

Of course, clothing and accessories aren’t all I buy on eBay. I get so many of my weird, cool quirky home decor items from there it’s crazy. To check out all my eBay collections for both fashion and home, visit my collection page. It’s lit!
